Analytics are your choice

You can browse the whole website without accepting analytics. We do not load Google Analytics or send it requests until you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics keeps it off. We do not use advertising cookies or Google Analytics on the private preview.

What we use and why

Running the website. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, timestamps, and errors, to deliver and secure the site. Cloudflare provides our domain's DNS service. These technical services operate regardless of your analytics choice.

Optional visit statistics. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits to our homepage and this privacy page. Information can include a cookie identifier, page views, session and engagement activity, browser and device details, and approximate location. Google receives your IP address when your browser connects to its service.

We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses sent to analytics and limit referrers to the referring website. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. We do not collect dream entries, voice recordings, account details, or form responses on this website, or send email correspondence to analytics.

When you contact us. If you email us, we use your address and the information you provide to respond and resolve your request, using our email service provider. Please avoid sending sensitive dream or health information by email.

Our analytics cookies are configured to expire 180 days after they are set, without extending their expiry on later page views. Your browser may remove them sooner. Learn more about Google Analytics cookies.

Change your mind at any time

Open Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject analytics to withdraw consent. This stops future analytics collection from this browser and removes the Google Analytics cookies set by this website. It does not automatically delete information already collected or affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

You can also clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser. Choices apply to this browser and device; clearing the saved preference means we will ask again.

How long information is kept

Google Analytics' user and event data retention setting is two months. That setting does not determine the lifetime of standard aggregated reports, which may remain available longer. Google explains these limits in its data retention guidance.

We keep correspondence and operational records for as long as needed to answer requests, investigate security or delivery issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting logs are also subject to the provider's retention settings.

Providers and international processing

The providers described above may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Google describes its processing and international-transfer safeguards in its Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from partner sites. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to our providers.

We do not sell website visitor information or use it for targeted advertising.

Your rights and our contact

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for optional analytics and our legitimate interests in delivering a secure website and responding to enquiries for essential operations. We may also retain information to meet legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information. You can withdraw analytics consent as described above. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests and complain to your local data protection authority.
