Optional measurement is your choice

You can browse the whole website without accepting optional cookies. Website analytics and ad measurement are separate choices, and both stay off until you accept them. Choose Accept all to enable both, Reject optional to keep both off, or Customize to choose each one separately. No Google measurement tag loads before you accept at least one purpose; accepting one does not enable the other.

We ask for a fresh choice when introducing ad measurement. An earlier analytics choice does not give permission for this new purpose. You can change either choice in Cookie settings at any time.

What we use and why

Running the website. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, timestamps, and errors, to deliver and secure the site. Cloudflare provides our domain's DNS service. These technical services operate regardless of your optional cookie choices.

Optional visit statistics. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits to selected public pages and clicks on App Store or Google Play buttons. Button clicks are reported separately from downloads and purchases. Information can include a cookie identifier, page views, button-click events, session and engagement activity, browser and device details, and approximate location. Google receives your IP address when your browser connects to its service.

Optional ad measurement. With your separate consent, Google Ads helps us understand whether our ads lead people to this website. It can process ad click and cookie identifiers, browser and device details, and visits to our homepage, this privacy page, Get Dreamlimen, Pricing, Experience, the three dream guide pages, and the blog index. Google receives your IP address when your browser connects to its service. We count a visit to Get Dreamlimen as a page-view conversion. This does not tell us that you installed the app, created an account, subscribed, or made a purchase.

Campaign links. When you accept ad measurement, we remember a recognized campaign code, such as a named search or social campaign, in this browser tab for up to 24 hours. We add that code and its predefined source to Google Play links, or a campaign and developer-account token to App Store links when configured. Apple and Google may use those links to report campaign downloads under their own reporting rules and privacy thresholds. This does not guarantee that every download can be attributed. When you also accept website analytics, our store-button click event includes that same predefined campaign label. Unrecognized sources are reported as unknown, and no free-form URL values are sent.

We configure measured page addresses without query strings or fragments and limit referrers to the referring website. Ad click identifiers may still be used to attribute a visit to an ad when you accept ad measurement. Individual blog articles, account and private pages are not included in measurement. The measured public pages are the same for analytics and ad measurement. Google advertising signals, ad personalization, remarketing, enhanced conversions, and user-provided-data collection are disabled. We do not send dream entries, voice recordings, account details, form responses, or email correspondence to these measurement services.

When you contact us. If you email us, we use your address and the information you provide to respond and resolve your request, using our email service provider. Please avoid sending sensitive dream or health information by email.

What is stored in your browser

Cookie preference Essential · local storage

Remembers your separate analytics and ad-measurement choices and when you made them. The choices are valid for 180 days; after that, we ask again. This preference is not a measurement identifier.

dreamlimen.marketing-campaign.v1 Optional · session storage

Remembers only a recognized campaign code and capture time after you accept ad measurement. It lasts until this browser tab closes, for at most 24 hours. Withdrawing ad measurement removes it and stops adding campaign labels to store links.

Help connect ad clicks with website visits and page-view conversions. These cookies are enabled only after you accept ad measurement and are configured for a 90-day lifetime. The cookies actually stored can depend on your visit and browser.

Our analytics cookies are configured to expire 180 days after they are set, without extending their expiry on later page views. Your browser may remove them sooner. Learn more about Google Analytics cookies.

Change your mind at any time

Open Cookie settings in the footer, turn off Website analytics or Ad measurement, and choose Save choices to withdraw consent for that purpose. Choose Reject optional to turn both off. Withdrawal stops future collection for the rejected purpose from this browser and removes its measurement cookies set by this website. It does not automatically delete information already collected or affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

You can also clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser. Choices apply to this browser and device; clearing the saved preference means we will ask again.

How long information is kept

Google Analytics' user and event data retention setting is two months. That setting does not determine the lifetime of standard aggregated reports, which may remain available longer. Google explains these limits in its data retention guidance.

Google Ads measurement and reporting are separate from Google Analytics. The Analytics retention setting and the lifetime of browser cookies do not determine how long Google Ads keeps its advertising reports. Google's policies describe its processing and retention.

We keep correspondence and operational records for as long as needed to answer requests, investigate security or delivery issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting logs are also subject to the provider's retention settings.

Providers and international processing

The providers described above may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Google describes its processing and international-transfer safeguards in its Privacy Policy and explains how it uses information from partner sites. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to our providers.

We do not sell website visitor information. We do not use measured website activity to build remarketing audiences or personalize ads to visitors.

Your rights and our contact

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for optional analytics and ad measurement, and our legitimate interests in delivering a secure website and responding to enquiries for essential operations. We may also retain information to meet legal obligations.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information. You can withdraw either optional consent as described above. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests and complain to your local data protection authority.
