1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Gratitude Lab LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides Dreamlimen, a dream exploration app. This Privacy Policy covers the Dreamlimen iOS and Android app (“the app”), the optional online services it uses, our public website at dreamlimen.com, and your communications with us. We are responsible for the personal information we receive through them. Under some privacy laws, we are its “controller.”

“Our Dreamlimen service” means the online services we run, hosted on Railway: an AI service the app contacts for Talk with AI, prompts read aloud, and dream illustrations, and an account service for your optional account and cloud backup. We also call these “our service” or “our services.” Talk with AI, prompts read aloud, voice previews, dream illustrations, and cloud backup send information to our Dreamlimen service and its providers, and so do signing in, checking your plan or trial status, confirming your age range, and, once you sign in, your optional setup answers. Talk with AI sends recorded turns and dream text, only after you start it. Prompts read aloud send fixed text only, and voice previews send only your chosen voice name. Dream illustrations, on Plus and Pro, send dream and reflection text, only after you choose to turn them on. Cloud backup sends your saved journal once you sign in, unless you turn it off. Written AI reflections on Plus and Pro send the dream text you choose to reflect on, without any recording, to the same conversation model and providers as Talk with AI, only when you ask for one. Reporting an AI reply or illustration sends the description you type and any AI text you choose to include.

Dreamlimen is not therapy, medical care, hypnosis treatment, or crisis support. Its AI features may suggest possible meanings shaped by what you write and say; they do not diagnose, predict events, or decide what your dream means.

2. Privacy at a glance

The short version. The rest of this policy gives the details.

  • Your journal is saved on your device. If you sign in, cloud backup turns on unless you turn it off in Settings.
  • Live dictation runs on your device. Your audio is not uploaded or saved.
  • Talk with AI, part of the hypnosis-guided experience on Plus and Pro for ages 18 and older, runs only after you start it. It sends your recorded turns and dream text to our Dreamlimen service and the providers named below.
  • On Plus and Pro, dream illustrations send your dream and reflection text to Google’s Gemini image model. They stay off until you choose to turn them on; the app asks before your first saved dream, and you can change it in Settings.
  • No ads, analytics, or tracking tools in the app. We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or train our own models on it.
  • Inside the app you can export or delete your journal, delete your cloud journal, and delete your account. You can also email office@dreamlimen.com to ask us to delete your account and cloud journal.
  • Dreamlimen is for people aged 13 and older, and the app asks for your age range when you first use it. The hypnosis-guided experience is for ages 18 and older and asks you to accept an 18+ notice.

3. Your journal on your device

A journal entry can hold a title, the dream, a scene, imagined dialogue, what you noticed, and the meaning you give it. A saved AI conversation is stored in its entry as a role-labeled transcript.

Saved entries live in the app’s private storage on your device; unsaved drafts are held in memory. Your journal as a whole is copied to our Dreamlimen service only if cloud backup is on, which it is once you sign in unless you turn it off, described in Section 4 (Optional account and cloud backup). Features you use can still send one dream’s text: if automatic illustrations are on, saving a new dream sends its text to create a picture, described in Section 7 (Dream illustrations), and Talk with AI sends the dream you are exploring, described in Section 6 (Talk with AI). Illustrations are stored on your device apart from journal text, and “Export my journal” exports your words only.

We cannot read, recover, or delete writing that exists only on your device. The journal is not separately encrypted, so your device lock matters. Optional Pattern protection in Settings adds an unlock pattern for the app; it does not encrypt your journal. On Android, the app opts out of system app backup; on iOS, a device or iCloud backup you set up may include the app’s data. Deletion does not guarantee secure erasure from storage.

Reflection scenes, music, artwork, and prerecorded preparation voices are bundled in the app and play without using the network.

When you set up the app, you can answer optional questions: how you found Dreamlimen, a name to greet you by, and your gender. You can skip each one. Your voice, scene, and reminder preferences are saved on your device only. Your optional setup answers, the questions you skipped, and your setup progress are saved on your device and, once you sign in, sync to your account so another device can resume setup; they are encrypted in our database like your backup and deleted with your account. The age range you confirm for age eligibility is separate. It is saved on your device and, when the app is connected to our Dreamlimen service, is also kept by that service, as described in Section 8 (Service access credential, usage limits, and technical information).

4. Optional account and cloud backup

Signing in. You can create an account with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. Some builds may show that cloud accounts are not yet available.

What we store. A user ID, your email address, your name if you gave one, whether your email is verified, and, for email accounts, a hashed password. We also keep your sign-in sessions, encrypted Google or Apple sign-in tokens, hashed verification records, and sign-in rate-limit counters. Google or Apple sign-in shares your name if provided, your email address, and a provider account identifier, and that provider learns that you signed in to Dreamlimen. Apple’s private relay addresses work; if Apple provides no email, we store a placeholder address we never email. We never link accounts by matching email addresses.

Emails and sessions. Email accounts must be verified. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes, verification links after one hour, and password reset links after 30 minutes; a completed reset signs out every session. Verification and reset emails are sent through Resend from a Dreamlimen address. A session expires 30 days after you last use the app on that device and is renewed while you keep using it. It is kept in your device’s secure credential storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). We use your IP address to limit repeated sign-in attempts; our production logs record only how serious an event was, not addresses, tokens, or content.

What backup contains. Cloud backup turns on when you sign in unless you turn it off under Account & backup in Settings. It copies your saved dreams, reflections, saved AI conversations, and illustrations to your private account on our Dreamlimen service; unsaved drafts and audio recordings are never included. Limits apply, including 250 entries. You can restore it on another device where you sign in. If two devices differ, the app asks you to review before either copy replaces the other; it never overwrites silently.

Setup answers. Once you sign in, your optional setup answers, skips, and setup progress are stored with your account, encrypted like your backup, so another device can resume setup. This is separate from journal backup.

How backup is protected. Journal text, conversation text, and each illustration are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they enter our database, and they travel over HTTPS. Our service holds the key so it can restore your journal. This is not end-to-end encryption: our running service can decrypt your backup, and would do so only to operate the service, respond to your request, or where the law requires.

Deleting backup and account. Your backup stays until you choose “Delete cloud journal” or “Delete account.” Signing out or choosing “Pause automatic backup” keeps the last cloud copy. “Delete cloud journal” removes your entries and illustrations from the live database and pauses backup; your local journal is kept. “Delete account” permanently removes your account, its backup including the illustrations in it, your synced setup answers, and related records, after you confirm with your password or a fresh sign-in. When this installation is connected to our Dreamlimen service, it also removes the illustration copies that service keeps for retries and the trial, account-link, and age confirmation records for your account. Those records are described in Section 7 (Dream illustrations) and Section 8 (Service access credential, usage limits, and technical information). If that removal fails, the app tells you and does not delete your account until you try again; after a failed attempt you may need to confirm your age range and the 18+ notice again. Copies on your devices remain until you delete them. Our hosting provider keeps any scheduled database recovery copies separately for at most 27 days, daily copies for six days and weekly copies for 27 days, and then they expire.

5. Live dictation, prompts read aloud, and voice previews

Live dictation. Writing fields offer live dictation using your device’s on-device speech recognition. Your audio is not uploaded to us or to any provider and is not saved. It needs microphone permission and, on iOS, speech recognition permission, and stops after 20 seconds without recognized speech or after 10 minutes. If on-device recognition is unavailable, you can type; there is no cloud fallback.

Reading prompts aloud. The app can read six prepared reflection prompts and nine short gentle induction scripts aloud; it cannot send other text for narration. If Inworld narration is available, only that fixed text, your chosen voice, and standard request details go through our Dreamlimen service to Inworld; your dream and journal never do. Otherwise the app uses your device’s own speech service. Downloaded prompt audio is removed after playback.

Voice previews and preparation. You can choose one of six stock guide voices; your choice is saved on your device. A preview sends only the voice name to our service, which asks Inworld to read a fixed sample; previews never include your dream or start the microphone. During the optional preparation and gentle induction steps, the microphone is off and only fixed scripts or prerecorded voices play.

6. Talk with AI

Talk with AI is an optional voice conversation, part of the hypnosis-guided experience on Plus and Pro for people aged 18 and older. You reach it from “Talk with your guide,” and it is off until you read its start screen and choose “Start conversation.” The microphone is off outside an active conversation. During a conversation, the microphone opens for your turn after each reply and closes when you send the turn, pause, or end. The app never listens in the background. Each turn is limited to two minutes and is sent when you choose “Send this turn” or after speech followed by a brief silence.

A conversation pauses after 20 minutes or when the transcript grows long. The transcript stays in the app’s memory until you review it and choose Save. Tapping Pause or End, leaving the conversation, or switching away from the app stops recording and playback immediately. A spoken pause or stop is recognized only after that turn is transcribed. Stopping discards an unsent recording but cannot recall a request a provider has already received.

While a conversation runs, our Dreamlimen service does not save or log your recordings, dream text, transcripts, or AI replies. A conversation you choose to Save is stored in your journal and, if cloud backup is on, in your backup, as described in Section 4 (Optional account and cloud backup). Our service holds each reply’s text in memory for up to five minutes for speech, and streamed speech audio for about two minutes; the app asks for earlier deletion after playback. Each turn follows these steps:

Reporting AI content. You can report an inappropriate AI reply or illustration from inside the app. A report sends the description you enter and, for a conversation report, the AI text you choose to include; you can edit or remove that text before sending. Reports do not automatically attach your journal, audio, or image files. We keep each report in private Dreamlimen service storage with a receipt, the submission time, its resolution status, and a protected identifier linking it to your installation or account. We use reports to review content and improve safeguards; they are not forwarded to AI providers or used for advertising. Reports are removed after 90 days and when you delete your account.

  • Your recording goes over HTTPS to our Dreamlimen service, which sends it to OpenRouter for transcription with a Whisper speech-to-text model. OpenRouter chooses which of its providers handles it; we do not select or see that provider. The transcript returns to the app.
  • Your dream text, the transcript of what you said, and the recent conversation go through our service to OpenRouter and the conversation model. That model is currently GLM 5.3 Flash, a model by Z.ai run by OpenRouter’s providers. If you used the gentle induction, the request also says which focus and pace you chose. Our service adds its own facilitation instructions and short reference material, never other journal entries or device identifiers.
  • The reply text returns to the app and goes through our service to Inworld to be spoken in your chosen voice. A reply can paraphrase your dream, so Inworld can receive dream details; Inworld does not run the conversation model or receive your recording.

7. Dream illustrations

Automatic dream illustrations are a Plus and Pro feature and stay off until you turn them on. Before your first saved dream, the app asks whether to create them and explains what is sent; nothing is sent until you choose. The writing screen shows a notice while they are on, and you can change the “Create automatically” switch in Settings, under Dream illustrations, at any time. Turn it off before saving a new dream to stop that dream’s text from being sent. They are limited to the monthly allowance shown in the app.

When you save a new dream, the app sends its title, dream, scene, what you noticed, and what it means to our Dreamlimen service, which asks Google’s Gemini image model to draw one picture. The request reaches Google in one of two ways: through OpenRouter, which we ask to route only to providers that do not collect the content, or directly through Google’s Gemini API. In the second case, Google’s Gemini API terms apply instead. Either way, Google’s model receives the text. Recordings, the conversation transcript, and device identifiers are not sent. The picture is imaginative, not a record or an interpretation.

Our Dreamlimen service keeps the finished picture, linked to your installation or account, so a retry returns the same picture. It also keeps a monthly count so we can apply the allowance shown in the app. The allowance resets on the first day of each month (UTC). It does not keep your dream text. “Delete saved journal” removes illustrations from your device and asks our Dreamlimen service to delete its copies; a deleted picture is not recreated by a later retry and still counts toward that month. Uninstalling the app does not delete our Dreamlimen service’s copies. Use “Delete saved journal” before you uninstall, or email office@dreamlimen.com. We will delete the copies we can match to your account or installation. If we cannot match them, we will tell you what we need.

8. Service access credential, usage limits, and technical information

Service access credential. To reach our Dreamlimen service, the app holds an access credential we issue to your installation. It is stored in your device’s secure credential storage. It expires after a set period (30 days by default, never more than 90) and can be revoked. After it expires, the app needs a new credential from us before it can reach the service again. Provider keys stay on our servers and are never in the app.

Usage limits. Our service keeps a hashed copy of your credential, a short label for the installation, its issue, expiry, and revocation times, and counts of accepted requests. If you connect your Dreamlimen account to this installation, it also keeps the link to your account ID and any trial or plan status with its expiry. Section 9 (Purchases and free trials) explains connecting. We use the counts to apply fair-use limits per minute and per day, for each installation and overall, and to allow no more than two requests at a time. These records contain no dreams, recordings, or request contents.

Age confirmation. When you first use the app, and again if you change it under “Age eligibility” in Settings, the app asks for your age range (under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 and older), never your date of birth, and, if you are 13 to 17, whether a parent or guardian has given permission. When the app is connected to our Dreamlimen service, the service keeps that answer, the time you gave it, and, for the hypnosis-guided experience, the time you accepted the 18+ notice, tied to this installation or to your account once connected. It is used only to check which features you may use. The copy held for your account is removed when you delete your account from a connected installation; a copy held for an installation that never connected an account stays until you ask us to delete it.

Technical information. Contacting our service or our website sends standard details: your IP address, the time, what was requested, and device or network details. Railway, our hosting provider, may keep operational and security records under its own terms. The app includes no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking tools.

Permissions and notifications. The app asks for microphone permission for dictation and Talk with AI and, on iOS, speech recognition permission for dictation. It does not use your location, camera, contacts, or photos, record in the background, or listen continuously. We do not send push notifications from our servers. The app can offer optional local reminders, such as a daily morning reminder (the app asks during setup) or, if we offer a free trial, a reminder the day before it ends. A reminder is scheduled on your device only if you turn it on, which asks for notification permission. You can turn it off at any time. Reminder settings are saved on your device, and reminders never include your dream text.

Communications. If you email us, we receive your address, message, and attachments; sending a journal or recording to support gives us that copy.

9. Purchases and free trials

Dreamlimen Free needs no purchase. Plus and Pro subscriptions and extra minutes, when available, are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. The store processes your payment; we never receive your card number. We may receive confirmation of your purchase, plan, and renewal status so we can unlock features and count included minutes or illustrations; we will describe any related processing here before it starts.

Free trial. The app may offer a free trial of Plus or Pro features. To start one, sign in to your Dreamlimen account, connect it to this installation, and choose the trial in Settings. To connect, the app passes your signed-in session to our Dreamlimen service each time it checks your plan or trial status, so the service can confirm your account with our account service. The session is used only for that check and is not stored. Our service then records your account ID for this installation and the trial’s start, end, and reminder dates, so a trial is used once per account and ends without charge. Devices connected to the same account share one set of illustrations and one monthly allowance. Starting a trial never collects payment details or creates a paid plan. If you turn on the optional reminder, your device keeps the trial dates only to schedule and cancel that reminder.

10. Sensitive information and what to leave out

Dreams may reveal sensitive information about your health, sex life, sexual orientation, beliefs, relationships, or other people. You decide what to write and say and may leave any field blank. Avoid unnecessary identifying details, and do not include other people’s confidential records.

We send that content to an AI provider only for a feature you have chosen, after the app has told you what will be sent. For Talk with AI and dream illustrations, we rely on the consent you give when you start or turn on each feature; the app explains what is sent before you choose, and illustrations stay off until you turn them on. For cloud backup, we rely on your choice to sign in with backup on, which you can turn off at any time. If you do not want a dream sent, turn illustrations off before you save it. You can withdraw consent at any time by ending the conversation, turning illustrations off, or choosing “Pause automatic backup” or “Delete cloud journal.” If you are 13 to 17, we rely on your parent or guardian’s permission where the law requires it, as described in Section 19 (Age eligibility and younger users).

Some laws treat information that can reveal your health as consumer health data. For Dreamlimen, that can include your dream and reflection text and conversation transcripts. You are its only source. The providers that can receive it are OpenRouter and the providers it routes to, Inworld, and Google. Railway hosts our Dreamlimen service and the account and backup database. Section 12 (Who receives information) has the details. We do not use your journal to infer a diagnosis, build an advertising profile, or make decisions about you with legal or similar serious effects. We do not sell consumer health data and do not use your location or geofencing. Section 16 (Your choices and controls) explains how to delete it.

11. Why we use information and legal bases

You can use the journal without any voice or AI feature. Where the law requires a legal basis, here is each purpose with the basis we rely on:

  • Provide the features you choose: journal, live dictation, Talk with AI, written AI reflections, prompts read aloud, dream illustrations, account, and cloud backup. Basis: performing our service for you, and your consent for the AI features and cloud backup described in Section 10 (Sensitive information and what to leave out).
  • Run your account, verify your email, keep you signed in, and send verification and reset emails. Basis: performing our service for you.
  • Count usage against fair-use limits and allowances and, if we offer paid plans or free trials, recognize your plan or trial. Basis: performing our service and our legitimate interest in keeping it available.
  • Secure our services and prevent misuse, including sign-in rate limiting. Basis: our legitimate interests, where they do not override your rights.
  • Answer your questions and requests. Basis: our legitimate interests.
  • Check that you meet the age requirement for a feature, using the age range you confirmed. Basis: performing our service and complying with the law.
  • Review AI content you report and improve safeguards. Basis: our legitimate interests, and your choice to send a report.
  • Comply with the law, including lawful requests and your privacy rights. Basis: legal obligation.

12. Who receives information

Providers receive only what their role needs. Each publishes its own privacy policy. A provider’s policy does not replace our responsibilities under the law. Providers may change, and we will update this policy when they do.

When you export or share your journal, the destination you select receives that copy. We may disclose information we hold when legally required, or when reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate misuse, establish or defend legal claims, or secure our services. If our business changes ownership, relevant information may be transferred with the protections the law requires.

We show no ads. We do not sell personal information, including consumer health data or the information of anyone under 16, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We have never done so. Because we do not sell or share, we do not offer an opt-out link; you can still contact us about any request. By provider, here is who receives what:

  • OpenRouter: Talk with AI recordings for transcription, your dream text and conversation for AI replies, the dream text you submit for written AI reflections, and, when routed through it, your dream text for illustrations. It passes each request to a provider it selects, including those that run the GLM conversation model.
  • Inworld AI: the text of AI replies, which can include dream details, plus fixed prompts and preview samples, to produce speech.
  • Google: your dream and reflection text for Gemini illustrations, whether the request goes through OpenRouter or directly, and your account identity if you use Google sign-in. On the public website only, Google Analytics runs after you accept it.
  • Apple: your account identity if you use Sign in with Apple; App Store distribution and, if we offer paid plans, billing.
  • Google Play: Android distribution and, if we offer paid plans, billing.
  • Railway: hosts our Dreamlimen service, its illustration store, and the account and backup database.
  • Resend: sends account verification and password-reset emails.
  • Vercel and Cloudflare: hosting and DNS for the public website only.

13. AI providers and retention

For conversation replies and illustrations routed through OpenRouter, we ask OpenRouter to use only providers that, under its routing policy, do not collect the content. That setting does not apply to transcription requests or when an illustration request goes directly to Google. It is not a guarantee of zero retention.

We cannot promise that a provider deletes your data immediately, keeps nothing, or never uses it to improve its models. OpenRouter, the providers it routes to, Inworld, and Google follow their own retention and security practices, described in their privacy policies; no zero-retention or no-training commitment has been verified. What we can say is what we do. Our Dreamlimen service does not keep your recordings, dream text, transcripts, image prompts, or AI replies beyond the short memory windows in Section 6 (Talk with AI) and the time it takes to create an illustration. We do not train our own models on your content.

14. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in Section 11 (Why we use information and legal bases), then delete or de-identify it. By category:

  • Journal on your device: until you delete it or the app.
  • Account: until you delete it. A session expires 30 days after you last use the app on that device and is renewed while you keep using it. Verification codes last 10 minutes, verification links one hour, and reset links 30 minutes.
  • Cloud backup: until you choose “Delete cloud journal” or “Delete account.” Database recovery copies expire separately, as described in Section 4 (Optional account and cloud backup).
  • Synced setup answers: until you delete your account.
  • AI content reports: 90 days, or earlier when you delete your account.
  • Talk with AI on our service: nothing is saved or logged; reply text is held in memory for up to five minutes and streamed audio for about two minutes.
  • Illustrations on our Dreamlimen service: until you choose “Delete saved journal” in the app, delete your account from a connected installation, or ask us to delete them. We do not delete these copies automatically when your credential expires or you uninstall the app, so use one of those routes. A deleted picture still counts toward that month’s allowance until the month ends. We keep usage counts only as long as we need them to apply allowances.
  • Service access records: while your credential is valid (30 days by default, 90 at most); expired and revoked records are removed during later maintenance of our service, and counters for past minutes and days are pruned during normal use. Request counters cover the current minute and day; overall daily totals are kept without any link to you.
  • Technical and security records, described in Section 8 (Service access credential, usage limits, and technical information): only as long as needed to run and secure our services. Railway keeps its own operational records under its terms.
  • Trial, account-link, and age confirmation records on our Dreamlimen service: until you delete your account from a connected installation, or ask us to delete them under Section 17 (Your privacy rights).
  • Support email: as long as needed for your request and legal obligations.
  • Website: as described in the “Website privacy & cookies” notice.

15. Security

Data travels between the app and our Dreamlimen service over HTTPS. Cloud backups are encrypted in our database with a key our service holds; this is not end-to-end encryption. Passwords must be at least 12 characters and are stored as hashes; sign-in provider tokens are encrypted. Your session and service credential live in your device’s secure credential storage, and our services keep only a hash of the credential.

Exported journals are readable text; choose their destination carefully. We use reasonable safeguards, but no device or internet service is completely secure.

16. Your choices and controls

You can delete your account in the app or by emailing office@dreamlimen.com with “Delete my Dreamlimen account” in the subject. We will verify that you own the account before deleting it. If we cannot match your email address, we will tell you what we need.

Revoking microphone permission (and on iOS speech recognition permission) in your device settings stops dictation and conversation recording; typing still works. An earlier voice disclosure acknowledgment does not override a revoked permission, and revoking does not delete a request a provider already received. We can act on the backup, account, and illustration records our services hold, but we cannot retrieve or delete information that exists only on your device. In the app you can:

  • “Export my journal” (Settings): shares your saved entries as plain text, without images.
  • “Delete saved journal” (Settings): removes every saved entry and illustration from this device and asks our Dreamlimen service to delete its copies. If cloud backup is on, the empty journal also replaces your cloud copy.
  • “Create automatically” switch (Settings, Dream illustrations): illustrations stay off until you turn this on; turn it off before saving a new dream to keep that dream’s text from being sent.
  • Talk with AI: never start it, or use Pause and End at any time.
  • “Disconnect voice” (Settings, Voice connection): removes this installation’s saved connection to our Dreamlimen service. It does not delete records our service already holds, and it does not reset your earlier voice disclosure acknowledgment.
  • The backup switch, “Pause automatic backup,” “Back up now,” “Review cloud copy,” “Restore cloud journal,” and “Keep this device’s journal” (Settings, Account & backup): control how your saved journal is copied to your account; backup is on after sign-in unless you turn it off.
  • “Delete cloud journal” (Settings): removes the cloud copy and its illustrations and pauses backup; your local journal is kept.
  • “Sign out”: ends your session on this device and keeps the last cloud copy.
  • “Delete account” (Settings, under Your Dreamlimen account): permanently removes your account and its cloud backup after you confirm with your password or a fresh sign-in. When this installation is connected to our Dreamlimen service, it also removes the illustration copies, trial record, account link, and age confirmation held for your account.
  • “Age eligibility” (Settings): review or change the age range you confirmed.
  • Report (in a conversation or on an illustration): send us a report about AI content, with only the text you choose to include.
  • Notifications (Settings): turn any optional local reminder on or off.

17. Your privacy rights

To make a request, email office@dreamlimen.com with “Dreamlimen privacy” in the subject. An authorized agent may contact us for you where the law permits; we may ask for proof of that authority. We may ask for only the information we reasonably need to verify your identity, but never your dream text. We will respond within the deadlines the applicable law sets and explain any lawful exception. If we deny a request, we will explain why and, where the law provides an appeal, tell you how to appeal. For information a provider holds, we will tell you which provider it is. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we process and receive a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete information we hold.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent, without affecting earlier processing.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling, where those laws apply. We do none of these.
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive information, where that right applies.
  • Complain to a data protection authority or similar regulator.

18. International processing

We are based in the United States. Information you send through Talk with AI, dream illustrations, cloud backup, your account, or support may be processed in the United States or in other countries where our providers operate. Privacy protections in those countries can differ from those in your country.

If you are in the EU, UK, or another place whose law restricts sending information abroad, your information is transferred to the United States and to the countries where our providers operate. Where that law requires safeguards, we will use safeguards it recognizes. Contact us for information about the safeguards that apply to our providers.

19. Age eligibility and younger users

Dreamlimen’s journal, reflection prompts, and other features that do not involve hypnosis are for people aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may not use Dreamlimen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are 13 to 17, the app asks you to confirm that a parent or legal guardian permits you to use Dreamlimen, and you cannot continue without confirming. Where the law where you live requires a parent’s or guardian’s consent for how we handle your information, including sending your dream text to the AI providers named in Section 12 (Who receives information), we rely on that permission. A parent or guardian can withdraw it or ask us to delete your information by contacting office@dreamlimen.com. The hypnosis-guided experience on Plus and Pro, including Talk with AI, is only for people aged 18 and older; the app asks you to confirm your age range and to accept an 18+ notice before each session, and we keep that confirmation as described in Section 8 (Service access credential, usage limits, and technical information).

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or sent us information, or that a younger user’s information has been handled without required permission, contact office@dreamlimen.com and we will investigate and delete it where required. Information saved only on a child’s device must be removed using that device’s controls.
